August ‘01

What a summer!  We absolutely loved family conference - thankx again!  Our
Texas trip was fun too. I think Daves' parents really loved having all
their kids together.  Then Heather and I were off to Seattle for a week,
and Portland for a week for basketball tournaments.  It was a lot of fun,
they weren't the worst, and weren't the best - but played really well.
Home was so wonderful when it was all over. It even sounded exciting to
clean again.....  that has passed.  So we are getting ready for school to
start in a few weeks.
Cathy has had her baby by now - hope all is well - congratulations!
Dave is searching all his options as he will leave Iomega on December 31st.
We are thinking of starting some kind of family business.  Jennifer is
gone more than she is home - Melissa is getting that way too. Heather and
Christa are cleaning their closets and drawers out so they can determine
what they need for school.  I really don't like school clothes shopping -
it seems like such a "keep up" thing to me.  DJ has spent the week in Texas
with his Hubbard grandparents, boy is the house different without him!  I
don't like it at all, and am sad to see my children all so grown!
We enjoyed mom and dads visit for a few days, it is always fun to have them
with us.
Not much else going on. We are all healthy and happy and grateful for all
we have.  We have been so blessed with gospel, children, family, food,  a
nice roof over our heads, the list goes on.  Thanks for the support you are
in so many unseen ways.
