Hey everybody,
We hope everyone is doing good. Our family is getting along great. Which means, we are all healthy
and staying out of trouble. We recently had the boundaries changed within our stake. Our ward is now half the size it used to be. Consequently, I was released from my stake calling in the YM's program. I started playing softball again this week. I'm not too excited. It's just too hot out there.
Leanne has been busy with some of her family coming into town this past week. With the changes in our ward, she was released from being Jake's den leader. She will miss working with all of those boys. Leanne enjoys getting up early and going for walks with her lady friends in the neighborhood. She also is very proud of her humble garden. The kids are amazed at the tall sunflowers.
Jake finished his Wolf requirements and also received a couple of arrows. He is excited to be back in school again. He still loves to read and go hiking with his friends. He went golfing with me last Saturday. He said it was fun but got tired caring his bag and was getting a blister on his hand. Overall, he was glad it was only 9 holes.
Taylor is also happy to be back in school. He now attends school all day. He loves to help Mom in the garden and Dad with the lawnmower. He is a good helper. He is learning how to read and spends a lot of time before bed reading books with Mom.
Hannah likes to dress up and play on her own. She spend a lot of time running away from Sam.
Sam likes to talk a lot lately. He is very loud too. He enjoys chasing Hannah around the house and loves to hear her scream. He's a true boy.
Little Amy gets around and into everything. I think she is going to be climbing soon.
We hope you all have a great summer. Talk to you next month.
