So
I decided to follow the great example of our amazing matriarch and write one of
these newsletters and do my part. I know how interesting my life is and how
much yall want to hear about it...so here it is! :)....
School
is going pretty well. OK- I lied! The best thing about school is that it’s
almost over. I love BYU and the social life that it goes along with it, but
academically speaking….this semester is definitely going to hurt my GPA. A LOT!
(if my dad is reading this- I was exaggerating…, if it’s anyone else- college
is HARD! You better learn to study now while you still have time!!!- my two
bits of wisdom!) It’s crazy how we are expected to study everyday just just to
pass your classes! INSANE! J I can’t wait for this
semester to be over. After my finals next week, I’m going to take a 9 month
school break! YEAH!!! I'll be leaving for Paris at the beginning of
January for my 'nannyship' (is that a word?) for 6 months. Crazy huh! I still
can’t believe that I’m actually going. I’m sure I’ll get used to the idea of
riding metros everywhere, living off crapes and croissants, trying to find any
store in France that sells deodorant, and touring some of our worlds ancient
history for the next 6 months. But for now- I still think I’m insane. We’ll see
how it goes.
So
yeah, life is good and I feel really lucky to be who I am with the family and
friends that I have. I’m excited to go home and spend a few weeks with my
family before I leave. I hope that all yall have a GREAT holiday and stay safe!
I love ya!!

PS- To those who
went on the field trip to the Huddle (waffle?) House in GA (ie. Brian, steve,
troy, etc.) : I think I saw some of yall’s ‘new friends’ at the Gary Allen/
Dwight Yoakum concert my friends and I went to last weekend! I now have proof
that Utah does have white trash folks, just like the ones yall harassed on your
escapade to ‘explore’ a little piece of Georgia! J
