Hey, this is Christa, and I haven't really been doing much.  I'm finally in
ninth grade, and I love it, even though I still am in Jr.High.  I have been
thinking about becoming a cheerleader...again, hopefully this time, I won't
be scared to try out though.  I'm always scared to do stuff like that.
That's pretty much it besides the fact that I'm getting braces, and
according to my orthodontist, I'm going to have them "for a while"  Well,
that's all about me!  (She forgot to tell you how great she is at teaching
DJ to play the piano!)

It has turned cold here, the colors are beautiful and the mountains clear.
Hope fall lasts a long time and winter is short!  What a month.  It is sad
that it takes a tragedy to bring our country together, but what a touching
thing it has been to see patriotism come alive.  Robert Pinkerton (Dave's
sisters husband) worked in building number 5 and sent a chilling email of
his thoughts of that day.  He couldn’t get home that night so spent the
night in his office which collapsed the following day. Thank goodness he
wasn't in it at the time.  We are so blessed to live in this country. It is
truly the promised land.  I know that someday there will be a mighty battle
between good and evil, and I already  know who will win - good.  I just
hope I am on the right side when my last day on earth has come.
We are so excited about Amy and Brian’s baby.  They have a girls name, but
can't decide on a boys.  they want to be surprised as to the sex.  RS keeps
me busy.  there are 3 sisters at different stages of cancer treatment right
now.  Through this calling I continue to learn so much about life, the
gospel, and me. I love you all.  Laurin

I am busy with school and with work.  I have a selling class, interpersonal
relationships, astronomy, and social problems.  I am planning to attend the
beauty college at the end of the semester. It is something I have always
wanted to do.  I start a new job working in one the offices at Weber State
tomorrow.  My advice to all of you is - learn to balance a checkbook!

Brian and I are keeping busy with work and school.  Brian received a new
calling to teach primary, the children love him.  I enjoy the nursery.  We
finally painted the inside of our  house, and are now starting on the
babies room.  We look forward to seeing everyone at Brian’s farewell in
December.

Hello!  Well absolutely nothing is new with me.  It seems like everytime
someone from my family writes about me it's to say the same thing:  I am
working, doing part time school (although I took this semester off), work
with the young women and hang out with my friends.  I think this little
sentence has remained the same for about four years except for the fact
that young womens replaced primary.  So boring.  I guess I can't complain
too much though, because I am having fun, but if anyone knows any boys who
live in the northern Utah area and are willing to send pictures, I'd be
happy to let you set me up with them!!!!  I love you guys and am excited to
see all those that go to Brian’s farewell!  Bye!
Jen

Hello everybody! Nothings really new in my life. I just play with my
friends and work. Works fun though. I'm a lifeguard at the Marshall White
Center, and it's fun. It's scary sometimes though, because it's kinda in
the ghetto, and I run to my car when I'm going home. I'm a Junior this
year, and it is so much fun. I love Weber! I'm looking forward to starting
basketball this year. I can't wait to see you guys in December.

Things are moving quite fast in our house.  I am working in San Jose 3 - 4
days a week, we are getting our business started, and holding on as tight
as we can.  We are all healthy, reasonably happy, and moving forward.  Hope
all is well with all of you

Dave
