What a wonderful two days. I love Conference. It
seemed all the talks were
what I needed. We watched both sessions yesterday and today at home in
peace and quiet. I looked for Melissa and Jennifer in the Ogden/Logan
Institute Choir on Saturday. Were you singing?
It is beautiful weather. Everything is blooming. (Wish it would
hold out
till Dave gets here.) There is not greater evidence of the love of our
Saviour in giving us this beautiful world at the time of year we celebrate
His atonement and resurrection.
The week before Easter we talked every day in prayer meeting about the
Atonement. That was a great lead-in for that day. I know that the trials
we
face in life are truly for "their sakes". It is not easy at the
time, but
growth and blessings come only that way. I also know that nothing I will
be
called upon to do can come anywhere near what my dear Savior went through.
Jetts (including Ben and Chrisie) and Johansons came for dinner and we had a
nice visit.
Temple work is picking up it seems. WE have been busy the last few weeks.
I love it. Last week I had two experience where I felt the veil very thin
there. WE are so grateful for this experience to work there.
My blood pressure has been running a little high. I am trying to find
that
inner peace that Elder Ballard talked about - rooting out frustration and
depression and trying to find my "happy place".
We love receiving each of your letters and hearing what is going on in your
lives. You are the greatest kids and grandkids and great grandkids
ever!!!
Much love to all.
